A weak nuisance system will pass to our south Friday bringing light snow or light rain to the Southern Tier. A much more significant storm system arrives Saturday PM through Sunday.

Lake effect and lake-enhanced snows come to an end tonight, with mainly dry weather Thursday and Thursday night.

Lake effect / enhancement, upsloping, and a closed low all walk into a bar.... and some of us are going to be plowing tomorrow.

Rain tonight changes to snow on Tuesday... with some areas getting a LOT of it by Wednesday evening...

A rainy Monday will give way to a snowy Tuesday ... and some of us will see a REALLY snowy Tuesday night and Wednesday...
