I have had to up the snow amounts a few inches in Central NY, the Tug Hill, the western Adirondacks and for most of the North Country. In these areas instead of 2-5, we are now expecting

The next snowfall is coming. Tomorrow afternoon, tomorrow night and tapering off on the morning of Christmas Eve. It will be a clipper and it will be state wide. It should be enough to ensure everyone (or almost everyone) has their first White Christmas in years! Going back to 2018 for some! It’s cold today.

It is turning brutally cold. Below zero temperatures likely tonight and tomorrow night. It is the time of year we don’t like. When it goes from too warm to keep the snow around to too cold to want to be outside! That is how this weekend will feel. Yikes! Now this is not record territory.

The bottom line is this: Basically from I-81 and points east, from the North Country, Tug Hill, Adirondacks, Mohawk Valley, Capital Region, Hudson Valley, Catskills and the eastern Southern Tier, this is looking like a solid 1-3 inches. Closer to 3″ higher up. Closer to 1-2 inches
