Chance of snow through 11/6: 90 Percent (Through tomorrow night 11/1)
Chance of snow 11/7 through 11/13: 75 Percent (After 11/7)
Good morning! Well we have some snow showers out there. Accumulations to this point have been close to what we’ve had on our map. So far. But remember, our snowfall forecast map goes through Wednesday Night 11/1 so even though there is not much out there, and not a whole lot of snow for trick or treaters this evening, going into the gravely goulash hours late tonight and lasting through the day on Wednesday, most areas will only see enough snow to coat the ground for a time. And remember for Halloween, it’s not every year that we see that. A majority of years it’s just too warm on Halloween. It’s usually between Veteran’s Day and especially by Thanksgiving that snowfall accumulations begin to pick up around here.
After tomorrow night 11/1, the next chance for snow fall isn’t for about another week! Here’s the final map for now for any accumulations through tomorrow night:
From 11/2 through at least 11/7 to 11/8, we are looking at high temperatures well into the 40s and 50s. So if any snow were to happen (and at this point we are expecting NO SNOW between 11/2 and 11/8), it would be gone almost in a heartbeat. Sorry about that.
But after 11/8, there are indications more colder air will come on down! And more possibilities of snow will be found from 11/9 to 11/13. Since this period is 10-14 days away, we are not even going to throw the ball at this other than to say snowfall is “possible” at this time. We won’t even say likely. Not today. Not Thursday. But next week on our reports we’ll have more about the pattern changes that could lead to some more accumulating snows. Just wish it wasn’t so far away.
Have a great day and thanks for checking in with us! To all of you new followers, over 1,000 of you in the last few weeks: THANK YOU!
