HEY! IT IS NOW OFFICIALLY SNOWMOBILE SEASON ACROSS ALL OF NEW YORK!
Get out and enjoy as much of the next 90 days as you can. In the meantime, pray that all the lake effect snow we have predicted through the weekend comes to pass! Here is how it is looking from now through Sunday:
As you notice some areas get pounded with snow. Other areas don’t. With the map I put up yesterday for total accumulations, some areas will hit it. Some will not. It all depends on what town you are in. But remember, this map is through Saturday morning. There will be some additional snows Saturday and into Sunday before it gives out.
NEXT WEEK
It will be cold. Not bone chilling cold or record cold. Just cold. Highs will range in the teens to low 20s all week long. Lows will generally be within 10 degrees of ZERO. That is easily below normal but nowhere near the record cold territory we were first thinking with this. Below normal yes. Record cold no.
