A fairly strong area of low pressure will move northeastward over the state early Friday. This will bring copious rain to much of Central New York.

Rainy periods through early Wednesday, then again Thursday into early Friday. Temperatures will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s by day and mid 30s by night just about all locations.

Increasing clouds with rain breaking out late Tuesday... mixed precipitation possible in the North Country Tuesday night, but transitions to rain on Wednesday. Chance of showers Thursday... and with more significant rain possible on Friday (possibly mixed with wet snow early in the North). Unsettled weather continues over Easter weekend.

Dry weather continues Monday and Monday night... as well as Tuesday for eastern/southeastern areas. Showers of rain, freezing rain, snow, or a mix develop Tuesday night/early Wednesday, transition to rain Wednesday... with a chance of showers Thursday. Forecast becomes fairly uncertain beginning Friday, with the placement of the frontal boundary and surface low pressure.

Quiet weather Sunday-Tuesday, rain showers a good bet Wednesday into Thursday, and then ????? for next weekend.
