With the exception of rain showers hanging around from Syracuse and areas to the south and east of there today, tonight and into Saturday morning, we are looking at sunny and several days of dry weather ahead!
Don’t worry about the clouds and temps only in the 50s and 60s today. It’s only temporary.
70s and 80s are ahead by Sunday and through pretty much all of next week! On Tuesday and Wednesday, temps in the lower elevations will reach into the 80s and possibly into record territory for Upstate NY. Then it cools slightly heading into the end of next week.
Columbus Day Weekend. This was mentioned a day or two ago as a point of a “major pattern shift” from above normal to below normal temperatures. Below normal for the first time in weeks. By that point in October we are talking 50s for highs with lows near freezing. Or at least in the 30s. That is painted over Upstate NY going into the second week of October. Will we see it???
Stay tuned. We are still 10-14 days even from this pattern taking hold. If it does. I’m just giving you a heads up on anything that may be out there. In the meantime, enjoy your October sunburn!
