Good morning Upstate Snow Nation! Thank you again for the response from my “Welcome Back” article on Tuesday.
So how’s the weather looking the next week? Well we have some patchy frost around parts of Upstate NY for the first time since late May this morning! There will be a few other patches of frost around later tonight and into Friday morning, but not as many.
This weekend clouds and wind take over as a coastal low comes roaring up the coast from the eastern Carolinas all the way up into New England by late Saturday. There will be the threat for showers late Saturday and into Saturday Night at this time. Then sunny for the next several days afterwards with warm afternoons and cool evenings. Exactly the type of weather that gets “Fall Foliage” roaring across Upstate NY. And if you don’t believe me, just look at how far the Adirondacks and Catskills have come already. There are may parts of these regions that are just 5-10 days away from peak color. Yikes!
But the bottom line is for anything really early season to get excited about… not yet is the word!
